About
Slow guidance for a new kind of medicine
GLP Fasting is an independent editorial publication for people using GLP-1 medications for type 2 diabetes or weight loss — with a particular devotion to the practice of intermittent fasting alongside them.
Why we exist
GLP-1 medications changed the conversation about weight and blood sugar — and the internet answered with noise. Miracle headlines, affiliate funnels, and advice written by no one in particular. What people actually need in this moment is quieter: clear explanations, honest uncertainty, and practical guidance on food, fasting, and movement while the medication does its work.
We write for the person two weeks into therapy who wonders why dinner feels optional. For the person with type 2 diabetes who wants to try a 14:10 eating window without risking a low. For anyone who suspects — correctly — that the habits built during GLP-1 therapy matter more than the therapy itself.
How we work
We hedge honestly
Where evidence is early or mixed — as much fasting research still is — we say so. “Research suggests” means exactly that, and no more.
We never invent
No fabricated statistics, no imaginary studies, no miracle framing. When we cite news or research, we link to the source and let it speak.
We cite high-level evidence
Every guide ends with its sources: peer-reviewed trials and reviews, regulatory documents, and clinical guidelines. Each link is independently verified before we publish.
Safety comes before story
Every guide is reviewed for medical-safety framing: who should not fast, when to involve a clinician, and what risks deserve plain naming.
We are not your doctor
Nothing here is medical advice. GLP-1 therapy and fasting decisions belong in a conversation with a clinician who knows your history.

Corrections, questions, and story suggestions are welcome at hello@glpfasting.com. If something we published is wrong, we want to know first. Start with the GLP-1 primer or the fasting guide.
