GLP-1
Welcome to GLP Fasting
Why we started this site, what we cover, and how we think about evidence in a space full of noise.

If you've spent any time online in the last couple of years, you've probably noticed that GLP-1 medications and fasting have gone from niche topics to two of the most searched health subjects around. That's exactly why we started this site — and also why we knew we had to be careful about how we did it.
There's a lot of information out there about GLP-1 medications and fasting, and not all of it holds up. Some of it is written by people trying to sell something. Some of it is outdated, oversimplified, or lifted from a single study and stretched into a sweeping claim. And some of it is genuinely useful but buried under jargon that makes it hard to know what actually applies to you. We wanted to build something different: a place where the writing is clear, the claims are grounded, and the goal is to help you ask better questions — not to hand you a shortcut.
What we cover. This site sits at the intersection of GLP-1 medications, fasting, nutrition, and fitness — four topics that increasingly overlap in real people's lives. You'll find explainers on how these approaches work in general terms, roundups of what current research and clinical guidance suggest, practical context for common questions, and honest looks at where the science is still evolving. We're not a medical practice, a pharmacy, or a substitute for the people actually managing your care. We're a publication, and we take that role seriously.
How we approach evidence. Our starting point is that health information should be traceable. When we reference a study, a set of guidelines, or an expert's position, we aim to make it possible to see where that information came from rather than asking you to simply trust our summary of it. We try to distinguish between what's well established, what's promising but preliminary, and what's still genuinely uncertain — because those are very different things, even when they get discussed with the same confidence online. We also try to update our thinking as the evidence shifts, rather than treating any single article as a permanent last word.
We're not interested in hype, and we're not interested in fear. Both sell attention, and neither serves you particularly well when you're trying to make a real decision about your own body. Our aim is to write the way we'd want a knowledgeable, plain-spoken friend to explain something — someone who respects that you're capable of weighing information for yourself once it's presented clearly.
What this site is not. We want to be upfront about our limits. Nothing here is designed to replace a conversation with a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, or other qualified provider who knows your health history, your medications, and your goals. General information can help you show up to that conversation better prepared, but it can't account for your individual situation the way a clinician can. If something you read here raises a question about your own health, that question belongs with your provider, not with a search engine or a stranger's article — including this one.
This is the first post on GLP Fasting, and it won't be the last. We're building this publication one piece at a time, and we'd rather publish less and get it right than chase every trending headline. Thanks for being here at the start of it.

This article is educational, not medical advice. GLP-1 therapy and fasting decisions belong in a conversation with a clinician who knows your history.
